Evo's Loves
Dolled-Up Damsels
Wes Gordon's 'Uptown Girls' Collection for Spring 2011 is fresh, spry
and sophisticated. These pastel-themed garments have an emphasis on clean lines and structured forms suitable for work or play. With a youthful style that shows off legs, arms and shoulders, Gordon’s line thrives on poshness with a punch, pairing lighter garments with brighter shoes or rad sunglasses.

Tire purses
Ilanit Neutra came up with a way to preserve the environment by using inner car tubes to create handbags, purses, wallets, sketchbooks and binders.
Instead of tossing away tires, which are made of non-recyclable material, Neutra reuses them. The material is soft, pleasant to touch and full of character with unique markings.

Tie necklaces...
A master at turning ordinary accessories into works of wonder, Lilian Asterifeld has transformed neckties into dazzling pieces like the Maria necklace and the  triple ruffle necktie neck kerchief (how’s that for a name?). Each necktie is one-of-a-kind, hand sewn and is easy to wear.

The Fireman Purse
With the Cleverscene Valor Tote Bag, there’s now a way you can always be reminded of your favorite working day hero. What makes this bag so uniquely charming is that it is made from an old fireman’s jacket, adding a bit of sizzle to its design.

This week: Handbags made from recycled tires, totes created with old fireman jackets and the things you never knew you could do with neckties. My all new style picks are below.... this is too much fun. Send your style suggestions and recommendations to me at:  yvonne@glamourquotient.com
